                For a long time, the comic figure Yosemite Sam had been the unofficial mascot of the unit which was also adorned the tail unit of this B-52H during the maneuver "Great Strike" in England in 1981. The airplane features the standard camouflage livery of the B-52 fleet of the 1970s and 1980s and features the then used tail cannon.

                  This B-52G, named „Midnight Express“, accumulated over 15,000 flight hours during her time of active duty. Following her retirement, the aircraft was transferred to the Museum of Flight at Paine Field in Everett, Washington, on a long-term loan where restoration was completed in the summer of 2018.

                    USAF Boeing B-52G Stratofortress, 416th Bombardment Wing Griffiss AFB "SAC Time" (1:200)Originally part of the 416th Bombardment Wing based at Griffiss Air Force Base in New York State, this B-52G was transferred to the 1708th Provisional Bomb Wing, operating out of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia as part of Operation Desert Storm in 1991. A small palm tree was added next to the mission markings on the left side after "SAC Time" blew up a palm tree during one run over Iraq.
