Gerry Anderson Stingray by TMC Pacific Modelworks Item Number: KZSRSpan: 6" Length: 13" Stingray was a children's marionette television show, created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. It ran for 39 episodes between 1964 to 1965. It was the first supermarionation show to be filmed in color, and also the first in which marionettes had interchangeable heads with different facial expressions. Stingray, a highly sophisticated submarine built for speed and maneuverability, is the flagship of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol (WASP), a 21st century security organization based at Marineville in the year 2065, located somewhere near the west coast of the United States. Stingray is launched from the base's Pen 3 through a tunnel leading to the Pacific Ocean. Made To Order Model
