Henry Fords first car. In 1896 Henry Ford was chief engineer of the Edison Illuminating Co. when he built a car called the quadricycle. This spectacular die-cast model is based directly on Fords one and only originaland lets you see the actual working mechanism of one of the worlds most historic automobiles.
* Presented by Henry Ford Museum.
* Hand-assembled from more than 100 separate components in 1:6 scale.
* Precision-engineered with operable tiller steering, wheels that turn, pulley, gears and leather belts that move in unison.
* Buggy-style seat is upholstered in suede leather to replicate the original cloth.
* Selected components are accented in brass, copper and gold electroplate.
