Diecast, beautifully detailed replica in 1/87 scale. Stand included. The BF109E was a German single seat fighter used during the WWII era. The 109E was the first version to enter large scale production. It featured a 1,100 hp Daimler-Benz engine which replaced the older 650 hp Rolls-Royce engine. With a max speed of 400 mph, 38,000 ft ceiling and a range of 450 miles, these fighters were an early problem for the British. BF109E was armed with two 13 mm machine guns and three 20 mm MG 151 cannons. (A Series-Red Box)
