Junkers Ju-88A (1:72) by Corgi Aviation Item Number: AA36703'Junkers Ju88A - 4D+GM, 4./KG 30, Lister, March 1943 (1:72) It was not until the Battle of Britain that the Ju88A played a major role in German operations. Ju88s took part in a number of daylight actions against British radar stations, airfields and ports in the opening phases of the Battle of Britain. The Ju88A-1 was the main variant used and possessed a good performance, was reasonably maneuverable for its size and could take a great deal of punishment. However, its lack of armored protection and insufficient defensive armament meant that it was relatively easy prey for RAF fighters.' Length:7.75" Width:11"
