This first-rate feature film thriller starring Michael Redgrave and Richard Todd, was based on the true story of the development of the 'Bouncing Bombs' used to destroy heavily protected German dams in WWll. It was trial and error, the final run at 60 feet over the water in the face of enemy fire. A dangerous mission at a high cost: eight planes and 56 men lost.
